Interested in Service on the ANS Georgia Section Executive Committee?

ANS GA invites members in the nuclear community to consider future service on our Executive Committee.  Strong leadership is a hallmark of our section and we encourage highly motivated and committed members to consider volunteering for leadership service.

Who are we looking for?
ANS GA seeks committee members who are committed to the nuclear industry and to advancing nuclear science, engineering, and technology in the organizations and communities they represent.  Our section is strongly committed to embracing the diversity that makes up our community. We seek nominees who:

  • Have been active ANS members for at least two years;
  • Have strong leadership and service orientation, interests and experiences;
  • Serve a cross-section of GA’s diverse communities; and
  • Represent diversity of professional focus, age, race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and geography.

Outreach

There are many opportunities to get involved in your local community through k-12 classroom visits, science fairs and other fun STEM programs. You can help expand nuclear science education throughout the area.

Attend Meetings

The ANS GA Section hosts  a number of meetings annually.  Meetings provide an opportunity for face-to-face networking and professional development through sessions and workshops.
