The Northeastern Section serves the nuclear community in the New England region with the primary constituency being in the greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts area. The Northeastern Section’s mission is to provide the forum for the development of the science and engineering of nuclear facilities: power generation, research, maritime, and industrial, and for the development of the individuals and organizations involved in such endeavors.

In accomplishing this mission, the NE Section provides timely information on nuclear topics at its meetings and at this web site. The American Nuclear Society and the NE Section strive to educate the public to the technologies in order to allow the public to form enlighten views on the benefits and the relative low risks of regulated nuclear activities.

Visitors to the web site are welcome to contact the officers with questions and comments.
