Pittsburgh Local Section Scholarships

The ANS Pittsburgh Local Section Scholarships are awarded each year to one outstanding undergraduate student and to one outstanding graduate student who are pursuing education in the field of nuclear science and engineering. Other requirements are that the students either have some affiliation with Western Pennsylvania or attend an accredited institution that is within the regional area. The Pittsburgh Local Section Graduate Scholarship is $3500; the Pittsburgh Local Section Undergraduate Scholarship is $2000. To apply for the Pittsburgh Local Section Scholarship, complete an ANS Scholarship Application and check the "Pittsburgh Local Section" box in the top right hand corner of the first page of the application. R.A. Dannels Scholarship

The ANS R. A. Dannels Scholarship is awarded each year to one outstanding graduate student who is pursuing a higher degree in the area of mathematics and computation as related to nuclear science and engineering. The Dannels Scholarship is $3500. To apply for the R. A. Dannels Scholarship, complete an ANS Scholarship Application and check the "Dannels" box in the top right hand corner of the first page of the application. Return your application to ANS headquarters by February 1.
