Welcome to the website of the Mississippi Local Section of the American Nuclear Society (ANS). ?As a local extension of ANS we strive to promote the awareness and understanding of the application of nuclear science and technology within our local communities.<\/p>\n

Section Goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Promote ANS products, programs and services, including Society membership<\/li>\n
  2. Support ANS public policy activities at the state and local levels<\/li>\n
  3. Provide information to the public on the benefits of nuclear science and technology<\/li>\n
  4. Facilitate the sharing of information among nuclear professionals on the local level<\/li>\n
  5. Create networking opportunities for nuclear professionals on the local level<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
