With the growing demand for energy that has a minimal effect on the environment, nuclear energy represents one of the key ways to provide electrical power at any time of the day and at a competitive cost. ?Just as important it provides the US with a large-scale carbon-neutral power source domestically, enhancing our energy security. ?Nuclear power in the US remains safe, and we are enhancing the protections against extreme natural events.?
