The American Nuclear Society (ANS) is a not-for-profit, international, scientific and educational organization established by a group of individuals who recognized the need to unify the professional activities within the diverse fields of nuclear science and technology.
The Michigan Ohio Section of the American Nuclear Society is an IRS recognized charitable organization with 501(c)(3) status. This means that donations to our organization are tax-deductible under the current IRS rules for charitable organizations. Any donation(s) from a single entity within a fiscal year of the Section, which runs July 1-June 30 each year, totaling $250 or more will be formally acknowledged by a letter from the Secretary as a receipt of your donation, as required by current law. Smaller donations can be formally acknowledged by simple request to the Section Secretary.
