Abstract:
This talk will be about key mind-changers regarding nuclear power that I discovered during my journey through the nuclear world. People in the nuclear world may take these mind-changers for granted but regular people tend to find them striking. I did, and many audiences later, I can say that a lot of others do as well. I will also conclude with a call to action. Friendly outreach is so important. Dr. Rip Anderson, my guide through the nuclear world, managed to change my mind by showing me the facts. His efforts resulted over time in a chain reaction in which thousands of people changed their minds about nuclear power.
